Medical microneedling (sometimes known as collagen induction treatment) is a very popular treatment and delivers visible results with minimal trauma to the skin surface and virtually no downtime. What is Microneedling?
Microneedling uses an electronic needling device to create shallow sterile needles to puncture the skin to create micro-injuries. This then initiates the production of collagen and elastin to the area being treated (face or body) to help with healing. Microneedling can help with the appearance of scars, acne and wrinkles as well as smooth, firm and tone the skin.

Anyone who is currently taking blood thinners (due to this being a higher bleeding risk); anyone diagnosed with skin cancer ( due to skin changes on a cellular level); anyone who is pregnant (infection risk); anyone who has active cystic acne (due tot the risk of spreading infection); anyone who has a cold sore (again due to the risk of spreading infection);anyone who is diabetic (due to decreased skin sensation and decreased wound healing); and anyone who has an open wound (due to the risk of spreading infection and decreasing healing).
